rolled up PART II DIY

I went to urban outfitters the other day and I saw these basic tees that were sinched up at the waist with the sleeves rolled up. My mother quickly said "those would be so easy to make" so naturally, I took it as a challenge.

What you'll need:
-t-shirt
-scissors
-marking utensil
-pins
-elastic
-sewing machine

1. Determine where you want you want the bottom of your shirt to be and cut leaving enough space to fold over and create a casing for your elastic.

2. Sew along the shirt leaving a small space un-sewed so you can pull your elastic through.
3. Measure your elastic across your waist (or wherever the bottom of your shirt hits) leaving an extra inch.
4. Feed the elastic through the casing and sew the elastic.
5. Sew the casing shut and you're done!
( for the sleeves I just rolled them up and sewed three random seams to keep them together)

My shirt turned out a bit long but practice makes perfect!
I hope this was helpful and that you guys try this out.
