$20 for this 100% silk blouse? Yes, please. This top was a total score and will probably become a staple in my closet. I hadn't done my hair like this since I was growing out my pixie cut and I thought I wanted that edgier vibe so I thought I would bring it back.

It's starting to get a bit chilly out so today was the first day I was able to break out my leather jacket and cords. I wasn't able to wear the jacket for long since it started to heat up. I got this top for super cheaps at Aero and one of my coworkers liked it so much she went out and bought it herself. The necklace was a birthday gift and everything else are things I have had for a while, but if you're interested in the cords GAP always brings em back every year.

I used to not like pink, and I have no idea why. I love it now, I guess because honestly it looks great with my skin tone. This is a preppier look than I would usually wear, but I was feeling really positive, so I guess it's okay. Have I mentioned how much I love fall? Definitely rocking all sorts of burgundy from my sweater to my lips. I love the look of a chunky knit over a feminine skirt with tights. I tried to link everything I could as always, but some things may no longer be sold or unavailable. If you're thinking " wow her face looks really.... photoshopped" it is because it is. As I have started my design classes I am required to use photoshop so I thought I would play around with editing my photos. My face has a lot of imperfections and I want you to be able to look at it without feeling uncomfortable so I will continue to edit them, hopefully my skills ( or my face) will improve.

It's finally chilly enough outside that I can wear a long sleeve shirt and not be uncomfortable. I love the look of soft colors in the fall, especially this dusty rose (mostly because it looks great with my skin tone). If you're wondering, yes, I have dyed my hair. I am in the middle of lighting it as light as it can go so this is just a temporary color, don't worry.

GRAY BLAZE

I need to find a new and clean space to take outfit shots. I admire those who can go outside for a shoot but if I tried to do that I would get a heat stroke, and I don't have any buddies to help with out with photos. I know my background is a bit distracting but I'll see if I can find a new spot.

I am not a big crop top fan but I was feeling a bit daring today so I said "why not??" Me being a shy person I don't like to bare my stomach a whole lot that is why I like pairing crop tops with things with adjustable waists like elastic waist skirts so I can choose how much stomach I actually want to bare. TURTLE NECKS

Not going to lie to you guys, this post is a bit delayed due to technical difficulties, but I am back! I thrifted this sparkly turtle neck at the end of the season last year and I was so happy to finally be able to wear it. I personally think turtle necks are very flattering on me, I am trying to find more versatile ones to wear more often but the search has not gone very well. But I will continue to search!

I thought I was being pretty funny with the title of this post but looking back, I'm just an idiot. It's still not cold here even in just a long sleeve shirt and jeans I feel gross and hot. Along with university I now have a job! I am very excited and I will do my best at still updating. I only have about 5 or 6 more weeks of the semester left and I am only a holiday temp at work so it shouldn't be too bad.

I finally bought a tripod and a remote so I took some time to have a little photo shoot. I'm not sure if these photos are good or just embarrassing. I tried looking just normal but my bitchface was showing. I thought I'd post them anyways.  

I am having a bit of troubles with my blog looking exactly how I want it and I am trying to experiment new looks. I can't say it will stop any time soon, or at all because I am someone who gets bored easily and I try to make things as close to my idea of perfect, so don't get confused with the constant changes, it's just me being a freak.

First of all please excuse the awkward poses, it's been a while since I took an outfit shot. I used to be terrified of white bottoms. I somehow always stain them even though I am not a messy person. I bought these at Old Navy cause lbr they were super cheap and they fit me nicely. I paired them with a bright blue blouse (which you might recognize from my last post) I was gifted as a graduation gift and a woven cap I found at Target. I think this cap might be my new bff this summer.

Happy Easter for those of you that celebrate! Being raised in the south, Easter Sunday is very importanté. Everyone must wear their nicest dresses and have a smile on their face as they go to church to hear the same message as last year and the last and the last and the last. Too bad this year it decided to rain so that means no photos of me in a sunny field. But I did use this opportunity to break in my new Prada babies. But now I have to spend the rest of my sunday writing a paper on feminism in literature. I hope your Easter Sunday is better than mine.
