I get so many questions about how I care for my nails so they can grow so strong and long. Honestly I just have naturally strong nails but these are the products I use to keep my nails trimmed, cleaned, filed, and moisturized. Any questions? Comment below and I will definitely answer!
Beauty Secrets Acetone | Cheap, does the job while not completely drying out my nails.
Orly Cuticle Therapy | I just recently started using this and I love it. It is exactly what I have been looking for. I do not like trimming my cuticles. I feel like it looks good the first day but then my skin starts to peel around my nails. Plus it can be pretty painful! I just put this on my cuticles, massage them and push my cuticles back.
Tropical Shine Nail File: Fine | Coarse | I use two different files. I use the Coarse 100/180 file when I am going to completely change the shape of my nail and I need something a little tougher. (Perfect for shaping stiletto nails!) The Fine 400/600 file is just for basic filing so I won't damage my nails too bad.
Sally Hansen Big Shiny Top Coat | I am a big fan of Sally Hansen and this is the best top coat I have found thus far. I have tried others that are tried and true to others but they just don't work for me. This is my current holy grail top coat.
Beauty Secrets Base Coat | I have been using this base coat for maybe 5 years. I have gone through more than 3 bottles. I love it and although the packaging is cute, it makes it really difficult to really get the last drop. Other than that, I have no complaints.
Ms. Manicure Nail Clippers | These suckers are amazing! I got mine at walmart AGES ago and they are still going strong. Best thing is, they are so cheap! I haven't bought nail clippers in forever.
This was a very helpful post. I am always looking for ways to improve my nail care routine! Please check me out as well at http://melissygoose.blogspot.com/ Thanks again!
